I think that the Power Balance Bands are a scam. In the first video I was almost 100% sure they weren't, but the second video changed my view completely. Also the fact that when they tried the tests with the holograms and the weakest person usually had the hologram or band helped make up my mind.
My hypothesis is that they really didn't test the bands, they just used different amounts of pressure on the people and that, like the doctor said, when the volenteers thought they had the band and it would work because it was the Placebo Affect. I would test my hypothesis by buying one Power Balence Band and disguising it to look like 3 other bracelets I buy. Then I would give each person a bracelet without telling them what is was and test them on their endurance, strength, balance and flexability.
It is necessary to look at all sides of the issue before making a hypothesis or setting up an investigation because if you only look at one side then you may not come across the evidence that changes your mind into thinking the other way.
